Hello all you Washingtonites!!! Just wondering how everyone is doing? Haven't heard from alot of you in a while. Things are going ok for me. Weight is staying the same, around 153 or so. Thinking seriously about going to Brazil for plastics. It seems so much cheaper and I have heard alot of good things about certain surgeons down there. The price for a BA/BL and a tummy tuck or LBL are about double here in WA than down there. The thought of going out of the country scares the bejeezus out of me but I am still considering it. Anyone in the process or have you done any plastics yet? Seems like at that 18-month postop time is when people really start either doing it or considering it. Let's all check in with some stats and let everyone know how we all are! Here are mine: 153lbs size 4-8 depending on the clothing but mostly 6's in jeans. (that still seems SOOOOO weird to me! ) Anyone else? Anyhoo... take care everyone and HAPPY SPRING! Lori

Hi Lori , I'm doing well . I've lost 100 pounds . I just had my 6 month surgerversery . I lost 30 of those pounds pre-op . So , i'm a somewhat slow loser , I guess . I have about 50 pounds to go . I figure i'll have a tummy tuck in another year . I'm going to go to the OH convention in Irvine , which I think will be fun . Boy , going out of the country for surgery would scare me . Happy spring . Kathy

Hey, hey, girlfriend. So great to hear from you. I've slacked off with posting myself. Just can't seem to find the time during the day to get on line these days. You're doing great though. I can't imagine wearing the sizes you're wearing now. I'm in a 14 having lost 102 lbs. I'm down from a size 24. I'm at 181 down from 283. I have a question for you though. I have really slowed down losing now. Is this normal? I'm still about 25 lbs. from goal but have given myself until my birthday next Feb. to reach it. What do you think?? I saw my brother and sister from Montana for the first time since surgery this past week. It was so fun to see their expressions when they saw me. I felt so good about myself. Wonderful! I have been wondering how your PS search was going. Brazil, huh? I have wondered it the travel costs would offset the cost difference here. Keep me posted on how your search is going. I'm about a year behind you but have already started to think about it. Just don't know if I can justify the cost in my head. Oh well, I've got time to think about it. It was just great hearing from you. Keep in touch. Happy spring to you too. Just a turn around the corner and we'll be in summer. I can't wait. Carol
