OT: How did all my Whatcom/Skagit Co friends fair in the storm?

Man on man! What a storm huh? I was so scared driving home yesterday from work that I cried. I was scared to death that the telephone poles were gonna come down on me or a big tree! We still don't have power or phones up where we live. I hope the power comes back soon. We have been out since about noon yesterday. It was a scary night, let me tell ya. Branche****ting the roof all night long. It looked like a tornado ripped through my neighborhood when I got up this morning. It was horrible. There were 12 trees across powerlines in my drive down the mountain (I live in Maple Falls and drive to Blaine everyday). So we may be out for a few days... Out here in Blaine, our phones are not working yet. At least at my work anyway. How is everyone else doing? Take care, Lori

Wow Lori, glad everyone is alright. We didn't get that kind of weather (Mason County) although a tree knocked out the power for about 6 hours. Hope everyone is alright and the power is back on by now. We went 3 days last year without. It's not easy. Take care, Carol
