Call from my doctor's office (previously WISH Center)

Well yesterday I got a call from Jeanine, she left a message for me that Dr. Alperovich's office has re-opened. I tried to call back but only received the answering machine. I had surgery in July and still haven't had my 3 month post op appt. It sounds like Dr. Alperovich is opening back up his own office?? The answering machine didn't say anything about Dr. Strain. Anyway I'm just going to be glad to see my doctor again. I decided to not switch surgeons and stick with Dr. Alperovich if possible, anyway just my update........

Hi Ann! He is back and in the new office that they had moved to right when everything got shut down. I've been in for a fill AND a slight unfill already. They're going to have the same phone number they always had, but won't be completely open till this week sometime. If you need him, call his answering service or Valley and have him paged. Dr. Strain moved on. I'm soooo glad Alperovich is back. I had a fill by Dr. Chebli for $250 while the center was closed and instead of a fill, he accidentally put me at .1 the wrong direction! He said he put in .3, but when I saw Dr. A the other day, I was lower than the last time I'd seen him for a fill 4 months earlier and have never leaked. Oh well. Just glad he's back and I can stay with him! They're going to be opening directly under Valley from what I understand and are still working out their fee schedules. Sounds like another surgeon will be coming on board when everything is back up to speed. Good luck on the 3 month post op! Kim

Hi, good to see that Dr A is moving ahead and starting back into a practice. It has been a bumpy road for WISH patients. My surgeon here in IL is moving on also into a new practice close to me. All the best to you and other former WISH patients. Chris
