Post Op Now

Yesterday I became an offical lapbnd member. Still can't believe just how fast my day came. Was in for the surgery at 7am and back home by 10:30. It went so smoothly but I am so glad the waiting, being nervous, and scared feelings are gone now. Pain hasn't been bad at all. I did have the shoulder pain late yesterday afternoon, but with the help of a heating pad, it went away pretty quickly. So for all you folks still waiting on having your surgery, hopefully the time will pass quickly and I wish each of you a very speedy recovery. Fran

Fran, Congratulations on your surgery. You're in wonderful hands at NWWLS. Be sure to take your liquid pain meds as prescribed by the clock for the first few days and things should be fine. Healing thoughts and drink those liquids
