Now Open in Richland WA, Surgical Weight loss Clinic of Eastern Washington

Has any one used this Doctor or Doctors, I have been getting ready to have my WLS @ OHSU in Portland, OR but this is so much closer. I would love to know about Doctor S. Ross Fox , He is on the doctor list but the patient reviews seem kinds old. I am very axious to hear they have a seminar in Pendleton an Saturday I would like to attend.

As far as I know Dr. Fox only does seminars , now . I don't think he does surgery anymore . His son has a practice in Tacoma . I believe he does Lap Bands . Go to the seminar . I know people who have gone to several seminars . Kathy

The poeple in Dr fox office do RNYs too or at least they did 4 1/2 years ago. Fox did the seminar I attended before I had my RNY, but I was assighned Dr. Oh. Fox is older.

I was told by a former patient of his that S. R. Fox didn't do the surgeries anymore . I guess they were wrong . I just checked out his site . In the phone book his son is listed as doing Lap Bands . Strange that the phonebook would list that if he does other WLS . Maybe he does the other types in Richland . Or maybe the phone book is wrong . I didn't mean to give incorrect information . I usually try to make sure i'm accurate . But , You sure don't hear about either of them here , except for older surgeries . Kathy

Judy, Hi! I went to Dr S. Ross Fox seminar in Federal Way about two months ago. He personally do not do the surgeries anymore but his son and Dr Srikanth (I think that's the spelling) are a part of his practice and do all of the surgeries. One of the great parts is that they do them laproscopically which is a huge bonus. I personally am going to Dr Chebli at Northwest Hospital in Seattle (closer for me then Tacoma) but Dr Fox's practice has been doing WLS for a long time and his seminar is VERY informative. I wasn't too impressed with his office staff which is another reason that I am not using him but I might have just caught the girl on a bad couple of days. Anyway, hope that helps. Good luck!! I had my NWCWL pre-op class , today @ St. Francis . The nurse that does the class said that Earl Fox only does Lap Bands . So , the other doctor must do the RNY's . I have heard good things about the other doctor . I haven't heard anything good or bad about Earl Fox . Kathy
