I'm feeling great. Took some friends from out of town to Mt. St. Helen's today and walked my butt off. It was so great to be able to walk all that and not get winded or have to stop to breathe. What a great day. Carol

Carol it's great that you feel so good . How much did you lose pre-op ? Just curious . I'm plugging away , but I worry I won't lose as much as i'm supposed to lose . Kathy

According to my doc's scale, I had lost 16 pre-op but acutally I think I probably had only lost about 12 before. His scale weighs lighter than mine at home. I have an appointment tomorrow so I will weigh before I go and then when there and get a better idea. I was worried I wouldn't loose enough either. I know how you're feeling. Just keep at it. You'll do great. Carol

Comparing the scales is a good idea . It seems like every scale is different . I don't have one . I am too compulsive , I would make myself crazy . lol . Let us know how your appt . went . Kathy

OK, here's the difference between Dr. Bock's scale and mine at home. I weighed before I left and was at 259 and at the office I was at 256.5. So I'm thinking 2.5 lbs. Since I started with my own scale, I'm using it as my standard of measure. The appointment went really well. No big deal. The staples are GONE! Yeah, I was so ready to get rid of those. Keep us posted on your progress. Carol

This is fantastic news! I'm so looking forward to getting my first 20 pounds off of me. Won't be long until my surgery is here. Keep up the great work! Sally

Carol, That is great. How has the past week been since you were out of surgery?

I have felt great really. I went yesterday to schlep around Mt. St. Helen's and have even ridden my bike once but decided to postpone that one since my husband got too worried about me. I took 1/4 dose of pain pills for two days after I got home and then quit them. Actually I feel better than I did before surgery because I weigh less and can get around better. Carol
