I'm banded and it's hot! And dear god, I hurt. Sorta wishing I'd stayed in the hospital. We went to get my pain meds (liquid vicadin) and the hospital pharmacy was all out! But we fould it at Walgreens, and I got to walk walk walk while it was filled, and then came home and slept two hours. Now... sipping my isopure, and going to try to walk around the house a bit. But i did it! I'm home. Just wishing i didn't hurt so darned much!! Michelle

Welcome home Michelle . I'm glad you managed to get your meds . I hate waiting for prescriptions . That is one reason I switched to my local Target pharmacy . My local pharmacy was so slow . I hope they have other pain meds in liquid form . I'm deathly allergic to Demerol & Vicodin . I hope you recover quickly . It sure is miserably hot out . Try to stay cool . Kathy

Kathy, Dr. Oh generally gives liquid vicodin, but it made me a little sick, so for my last surgery, they gave me liquid Roxicet. IT ROCKED!!!!! It worked WAY better than VIcodin ever worked for me. I liked it maybe a little too much LOL!! I would ALMOST have more plastics done just to get it again...HAHAHA!!! J/K Hope that helps to sooth your fears. Let me know if you have any questions regarding Dr. Oh. He did my surgery on 10-07-04. Laura 215/103 below goal, way below surgeon goal and feeling GREAT

Michelle, wow you picked a hot day to get out of the air conditioned hospital room. That is terrible you had to spend so much energy then getting your meds. BUT... you did it, and you are home now! I am so proud of you!!!!! Hugs, Aunt Pam

Thanks for all the good wishes!! I am finding an ice-pack is very nice on my port site, which hurts the most of everything. And I'm trying to cough alot even tho my chest aches... and I'm drinkin in my protien. Trying to do everything I can to get well fast, despite this terrible heat! (finally broke down and set up the lap-top so I could communicate with you all-- it's WAY too hot upstairs to use the normal computer!) I find it difficult to move about. I'm not in too much pain if I'm sitting or lounging, but MAN my port site HURTS to walk around with. I'm sure that's normal. Anyway-- thanks for the good wishes, hope today's cooler! Michelle
