July 8th meeting with Dr Rabkin for DSers

It was such a pleasure to meet with all of you....and such an array of information. It was so good to have my husband with me....I had tried to relay information about DS and shown him pictures...but he was still into the lap band....now he is on board big time with my option for DS. I want to thanks Laura for being our hostess....and to Becky and Kathy....please contact me about the surgeries in Mexico and Brazil. It looks as though my insurance company is not going to cover WLS and I just don't want to go thru the time and pain of appeals and all that. The cost will make going out of the country a must...so I need all the information I can get. Looking forward to hearing from you. Karen

I have a question....at the meeting someone was talking about one of the doctors either in Brazil or Mexico....was changing to using a spa instead of the hotel. Does anyone remember hearing that or know any information about it? Or if it is Brazil or Mexico???? Please let me know. Karen
