Surgeon Question

Has anyone on here had surgery with Dr. Laurie Spaulding? If so, can you tell me about your experience and if you do/do not recommend her? Thanks!

I have had surgery with Dr Spaulding and found her to be a very good surgeon and a all around nice person. She knows what she is doing and has feelings for her patients. Her staff is also very good and answer all questions. Her nutririon program is not the greatest but you can get help with that at different sites on internet. I had many complications and Dr. Spaulding saw me through most of them. Good luck!! Betty

I had to wait about 1 1/2 years from the first contact to the actual surgery. It was a long wait and I was very anxious. Have you had your first appointment yet? Betty

I have not had an appt yet... they told me that they had to send paper work to my PCP and then they would call and schedule a consultation... she said right now consults are booking to August.... Im just being patient because I know that this is not a quick process, especially in this small state! I do not recieve my health benefits until October but I am trying to plan ahead (I am getting BCBS and it says in the guidelines that they cover sugery if BMI is over 40 and mine is 51). Any insight on Dr. Spaulding and/or this surgery would be wonderful! Warm Regards!
