Topic: RE: diet Rx to boost weight loss/metabolism?

Phendimetrazine. I'm down 5 pounds. Returned for 1 month follow up. Been hesitant about this process but blood pressure has remained steady, and I have felt good.

I realize portions had increased and frequency of "small snacks" had been adding calories. Lab results were very good but did show post menopausal - and there are hormonal issues that begin to affect the weight process. Especially inches gather in the abdomen area - which I had noticed but attributed to diet.

Overall - it is going well. He repeated meds for 1 more month, and I return 9/3.

i had a band removed and six weeks later got VSG. I still get a little GERD but it is controllable if I don't drink coffee - small price to pay. I can't say enough how great VSG is. I would highly recommend it!!!

What do you think about using weight loss aids? Do you think it is worth it? I would like to hear your thoughts. I found some on Canada drugs direct, for example, and I would like to try those out soon. Maybe you can recommend something to me here, thank you in advance!

Almost at the 6month mark. Lost 55 Lb.

Feeling good. I am walking 3+ miles in the morning followed by 10-20 min yoga.

Beginning to get that pouch or apron. Wonder if I will have loose hanging skin. So not right!

Topic: Burping - need help

Hi Guys,

Its been ages since I have been on here but I need help please. I noticed now that I am 8 years out...I am burping a lot. Is anyone else experiencing this? I barely drink carbonated stuff - maybe 1 a week. It is embarrassing and I am very discreet about it....but it is annoying. It happens everyday and I am not overeating or gulping.

I had a surgery date scheduled in June, and it was cancelled due to me gaining 20 pounds instead of losing 20 pounds. I am so disappointed in myself. After the surgery was cancelled, I managed to lose 14 pounds in a period of 4 weeks, but I seem to have gained it back now too... I'm feeling very bummed. I started again yesterday with replacing meals with protein shakes and soup as well as implementing a 30 minute dance party. Please send positive vibes my way; I need them. If anyone can be my support system or guide please reach out! I would like to lose 30 pounds in a 6 weeks. Fingers crossed.

echoing white dove, is this your surgeons plan? What kind of shakes and soup and how much of each?

are you eating things off plan? No judging, I know it's hard, been there done that, but if you are that is going to cause gain.

are you getting 64+ ounces of no cal drink every day?

Did your surgeon give you a diet to follow to lose the weight before surgery? Are you working with a therapist? It is not easy to lose weight and you need all the help and support you can get.

Soup and protein shakes would not be a good plan for me, but if that is what your surgeon recommends, then follow their directions.

Genpro unflavored has been awesome. It's a but expensive but I know it's helping I feel better but then again I'm taking all my vitamins also.

I'm glad I had my bag surgery though I'm approaching week 3 post op I have not list much but I know the weight will leave. I have s en some face shrinkage though. I am trusting the process.
