How did you know your sleeve was leaking.
Recent experience an attack and fell on my stomach. I am 33 days post op. I feel weak and have some uncomfortable soreness on the left side of my stomach. I can hold down water but vomited up puréed chicken 2 tsp. I think it's just cause my nerves but wondering if my sleeve could be leaking. I don't have a fever just feel weak.
a leak after wls will make you feel like you are dying. You will have fever snd be very ill. You will be going to the emergency room instead of posting on the internet.

Hello,
Sorry about the passing of your Mother. Ours just passed away on January 19th & our Father passed away on August 3rd, 2020. I was the primary caregiver for both. I retired from my job January 2020 after 40 years with an insurance company to take care of them. Yes, it's a tough job but you can do it. You're doing the best you can. I'm a grazer, which is not good. That's how I got by. I usually eat the individual servings of puddings, applesauce, nut packages, etc. Also, to stay busy (it was hard) started packing our parents belongings & treasures. It was both tearful & joyful all the things there were. Anyway, good luck, take care.
Good morning!
I had the pleasure of recording this testimonial of a patient of mine who came back to Endohospital after her Gastric Sleeve Surgery.
If you want to see her first-hand experience check it out here:

I haven't discovered any new recipes, but I do crave all types of food. My go to food during the super bowl used to be chips (tostitos) and Mexican dip. I'm trying to get back on the weight loss boat but keep reaching for chocolates and not exercising. Great post, hope to see some food ideas to help me curve my appetite. My go to healthy foods are yogurt, cottage cheese, and eggs.
Hi all!
What new bariatric friendly recipes have you discovered recently? Anything you've been craving and can't find something to fit the bill?
Anyone thinking ahead to super bowl food prep? In my house, we're planning on having a few friends that we work with every day over but nothing like we've had in previous years. I want to have healthy options that also feel game-day suited.
As many of the previous posts said, there are successes and failures with any of the surgeries. I didn't like the idea of my intestines being rerouted and my biggest issue was that I just ate way too much so I went with the sleeve. I had my surgery in September 2015 and it was the best decision I've ever made. I have lost and kept off over 200 pounds. My surgeon calls me a huge success and has said that I have lost more and kept it off better than many of his bypass patients. Any of the surgeries are what you make of them.
Had VSG on 9/28/15
Lost 161 lbs since surgery, LOST 221 lbs overall so far!!
