Life is almost back to the normal I expected. Drinking plain water is still a chore. I can drink Fairlife protein shake without any problem but with water, I have to force myself to take the next sip.
Doc approved walks/jogs but no crunches. Afraid I might have extra skin hanging below the belly - what is the secret to avoiding that?

Unless you've had medical tests done that show there's something wrong with your sleeve, then your tool probably works just fine. Dieting didn't work because it never works. You have to change the way you eat permanently. Go back to logging, weighing, and measuring everything you eat. Eat protein first, and cut out all the crap, chances are you'll be able to lose weight.
I'm having severe GERD 6 years out. May have to have a revision to gastric bypass. Just waiting to get the ok. Tough road.
Possible revision from sleeve to gastric bypass because of unbearable reflux. In the process now.
Hello all. I was sleeved in 2011 and was doing o****il I had some tragedies in my life and things drastically changed for me, including my eating habits. I want to get my health back on track now and dieting just isn't working. I'm interested in hearing from some people who have had revision or resleeve surgery. Thanks, Larry

Very helpful! I think it is really important that you achieve good health and maintain it. As for me, I often get some supplements and vitamins from Canadian Pharmacy which help me with it. Have a look there too, maybe you will find it helpful

Hi there, girls! I would like to get some recommendations about vitamins and supplements here. I think I need to take some too. I often get info about different medicine from Canada Drugs by the way. have a look there too, maybe you will find that info helpful to you too ;)
As other's have said, back up your meal plan and try more liquids. You didn't state what you're eating but at that stage I was doing protein shakes, cottage cheese, greek yogurt, loosely scrambled eggs, ricotta bake, canned chicken made wet with mayo or greek yogurt. Make sure what you're eating is plenty mushy and take tiny bites. It would take me most of 90 minutes to get through a couple of tablespoons. Some doctor's will tell you to eat for 30 minutes and stop, but I never got that advice and never followed it. I still don't and I'm still a slower eater than most at the table.
All that being said, some people are just more prone to burping. I burp a LOT still. Very little of it is painful, although I do sometimes have indigestion/nausea that is resolved by a big round of burping. Burping is also my full indicator, so it could be that even with as little as you are eating you are going "one bite too many". I know the portions are stupidly small, but that's why you can supplement with shakes.

Try taking teeny tiny bites. A spoon for babies can be very helpful to you. Also, try to avoid taking in any air when you eat.
