Lentil soup was one of my faves... I could get 4 or 5 meals out of a can for the first few months after surgery!

TheWombat, this is awesome, thank you. I can see where I could get several meals out of one ready to serve can!

I mixed protein powder into sugarfree instant pudding. I also bought an ice cream maker and made protein shakes into soft serve ice cream. I ate a lot of mug muffin made with 1/3 cup flaxseed, sweetener, a teaspoon of baking powder, a drop of vanilla extract, and one egg. Mix all together in a coffee mug and microwave for about one minute.

Yay, thank you for this recipe! I'm going to try it this weekend. I have flaxseed in the pantry, and I'm not even sure what I bought it for originally! I'm really enjoying this website and all of you helpful souls!

Forgive me, I'm just about 4 years out so my list may encompass the first 6 months or so.

  • Eggface Ricotta Bake
  • Scrambled Eggs
  • Cottage Cheese
  • Greek Yogurt w/ Sugar Free pudding mixed in
  • Smoked Salmon spread with laughing cow cheese
  • Ricotta cheese w/ SF Vanilla Syrup and Cinnamon
  • Premier Protein mixed with Decaf Coffee
  • Buffalo chicken dip modified for post-op - either canned chicken or chicken shredded from the crockpot mixed with greek yogurt, ranch powder, cheese, and hot sauce.
  • Egg salad made with a dollop of mayo and the rest greek yogurt. I often added everything but the bagel seasoning or cottage cheese to it.

Erin T., thank you for posting this reply to my question, it's very helpful. Every little bit of info that I can get at this time is fantastic since I'm such a newbie!

Happy Turkey Day to you and everyone!
