Wound care

Hello I'm a new member and I just had a question about wound care, i had my surgery on December 9th 2019 and I've been hearing different ways about wound care, i have steri strips so is it ok for me to lightly soap them and rinse or do i keep them completely dry (which is what I've been doing)

I believe mine came off in the shower after a few days and I don't remember keeping them dry, but ask your surgeon.

Definitely ask your surgeon. My doctor said I was OK to rub a little bit of unscented soap on them and let shower water run over them, but your doctor may have different preferences.
