Hello,
I decided to sign up for this website looking for a little support from others who have traveled down the same path that I am on. I am not knew to weight loss surgery. I had Lap Band surgery in 2009. I only lost around 70lbs with the band. I had it removed on January 3, 2019. I really didn't like the band, but I kept it in for 10 years because it did keep me from gaining a lot of weight. I had problems with throwing up until I got my fluid taken out, well that defeats the purpose of having the band. I am scheduled to have the sleeve on May 9, 2019. I'm praying that all goes well and I can start my new journey. I wish all of you great success in your weight loss journey!

Congratulations on your upcoming surgery! I have friends who have had the band, and they have all been miserable. One has had the sleeve since. One cannot find a doctor willing to take her because she had her band done when she was working overseas. A third had her band removed, but can't afford a revision. So you are very lucky to be able to get yours. Good luck next month with your surgery!
