Saying Hello!!
Hey folks! I am new to this whole VSG thing. I had surgery on 3/19/19 starting weight was 361, male, 6'2. Current weight is 327. Still a long way to go and getting tired of the puree foods. Struggle to get my mind from bad foods, but will never compromise my health and eat off the diet. Any ideas to eat for the puree phase of the diet? So excited start this journey!!!
I'm not a VSG, but I'm also no stranger to pureed foods. You might try "The World According to Eggface"; Shelly over there has amazing recipes for all of the food stages. At least that will get you started. I'm sure others will chime in too.

Welcome. Our stats were about the same.
I never did puree. Not a chance. I stayed on protein shakes a little longer, and eased slowly into soft foods.
6'3" tall, male.

Wow you're lucky to already be on puréed food. My surgeon requires two days clear liquids, then two weeks liquids before starting two weeks of puréed. I'm on my second week of liquids and have been eating/drinking:
unsweetened applesauce
sugar free jello
sugar free pudding
tomato juice
decaf tea
protein shakes
homemade split pea soup
tomato soup
I'm so looking forward to puréed as the liquid variety is getting boring. Did your surgeon give you a list of foods you can have on the puréed?
I'm looking forward to:
Refried beans
soft poached eggs
hummus
oatmeal
Good luck!
