i just spent a few months on a support group site that was anything but! I'm so glad to come back here.

Obesity Help is where I started so many years ago. About 12 years... 10 years from surgery. I'm successful, and I think it's time to pay it back, and help my fellow sleevers!

Starting weight 300+ surgery weight 282, current weight 140 something

Let me tell you how much I love my sleeve...

Wow, 10 years out and you're still going strong. That is very exciting to read by myself, being a newbie.

Just

getting started on my journey. VSG on March 25th conversion from a LapBand which gave me minimal results and maximum trouble. It's very exciting to see someone who is successful even this many years out. It gives me hope.

Sweetie never give up hope! You'll have a great tool...and if youre willing to fight hard, you're going to be a success!

Hey! This ain't easy! Ya still gotta work, change your eeating habits, but that comes much easier with the sleeve too. Jump on it, and change your ways right away! it's not as easy as gaining the weight even with any WLS

Im ten years out...and got 10lbs of winter comfort food to lose. That includes 6 months of pretty much being dormit due to breaking my dominant arm and shoulder in 3 places, then 3 ribs 4 weeks later. Lol...yep I'm a klutz!

My size 6 is tight! I refuse to buy bigger clothes. I know I can make them comfortable again! My highest weight was 300 something, I crawled up stairs! My lowest was 130 after surgery... I looked like a sick bird! My best weight seems to be 140 something...or as I say..size 6..or 4 in some brands, and 8 in others. I don't weigh anymore except at my biannual Dr appointment. I've went by clothes size since about 3 months after surgery. I found that you may not see scale goals coming quickly, but inches did. Each time I lost out of a size, it went out the door! Gosh I love good thrift shops! ?
