WATCHA EATING TODAY, VSGers? Friday, 11 Jan 2019
Friday! But for retired people it's hard to tell. It's clear and cold this morning. I have another project to start, but am feeling a bit languid -- I think its the major medication change. My DH reminded me it takes about 2 weeks to get used to changes, but I am not a patient person, apparently.
QOTD: If you could change on thing about your physical appearance (without surgery), what would it be? And how would that change effect your life overall.
Mine would be my hair. I always had a ton of thick black wavy hair, and two separate chemo courses, plus aging, plus the VGS has thinned it, primarily on the top. I am okay with the gray/white/silver/black mix, but wish there was more.
While it wouldn't make me a kinder woman, nor make me smarter, it would certainly make me less self conscious. Of course, I remind myself that probably no one is paying it much mind but me. Maybe its growing up in the 60s-70s, where it was all about hair.

Good morning, Annie. It's bitterly cold here today... I have to remind myself that it's January and this is normal.
QOTD: I would be taller - not for vanity sake, particularly, but because I always struggle to get things out of a cabinet, etc.
B: cheerios
L: 1/2 chicken salad and small brocc cheddar soup from Panera...ate around the bread and 1/2 the soup and I'm too full.
D: leftover chinese - mala chicken with lots of nice veggies
E: possibly a short walk. it's windy on top of the cold, so it's iffy
Happy it's friday!!

I am almost 5'4", but lots of things are out of reach (T-rex arms?). I'm not too steady on a step stool at 66, but my husband is 6' with long arms...sometimes I wait to have him get something down. Or I do the jump and pull it down on my head thing :)

Not uncommon at all to have doubts just before surgery! Especially if it's your first surgery. It'll be great - trust yourself and your decision making process.
