Happy New Year, all! I wonder how long it will take me to consistently remember it's 2019?

I did not stay up until midnight since I had to wake up this morning for a day at the theater. Lance and I are heading out to see Vice, If Beale Street Could Talk, and On the Basis of Sex. Art has a dojo party to ring in the new year!

QOTD: Are you a goal maker? What goals do you have for 2019? (I'll put mine in the comments.)

1: protein shake (second day in a row - it's amazing how much I miss my shakes when I'm on vacation.)
2: something out - see "what would you order here" post.
3: leftover meaty spaghetti sauce

liquid and vites: on track (I also didn't drink nearly enough while on vacation - I was lucky if I got in a liter a day!)
exercise: 15 minutes of yoga when I get home - got to start the year off on the right foot

How about you?

Back in the day when we wrote checks, I think we picked up the year change more quickly.

QOTD: Are you a goal maker? What goals do you have for 2019? Yes. To be kinder to everyone including myself; to go back to Planet Fitness and to have an adventure!

  1. Chobani key lime yogurt
  2. Lean slices of red meat
  3. Coffee coffee coffee
  4. Homemade etoufee
  5. ????

Liquids good, vitamins and biotin good. Step goals being met. Phone died :( and its a ghastly process to transfer everything.

Good morning and Happy New Year! I agree Annie, writing checks in the past helped a lot to remember the new year. It will be harder this year since I don't write checks anymore!

I have heard a lot of good things about If Beale Street Could Talk Gwen, enjoy your day at the movies. I'm a little behind the times so I had to Google what Art's Dojo party would look like:-)

I was at the casino with my mom last night very late, they were having a drawing every half hour for $1000. I sat at one machine for most of the night playing on $40, of course the person next to me won $2000, that always happens:-) Got home just in time to watch the ball drop and hear the fireworks around my neighborhood. Have zero plans for the day, it is snowing now.

QOTD-I always love your goals Gwen! I'm trying to use the word Intentions this year. My Intentions for 2019 are: To spend more time with my 90 year old friend Mercy, to call and communicate with my brother more often, try Intermittent Fasting, to hike Foys to Blacktail trail as soon as the snow melts and try a beginning yoga class.

B-1/3 cup granola, coffee

L-Flax and apple porridge with pecans and coconut milk

S-Hot tea

D-Cheddar/Turkey omlet

E-not sure

Have a great Tuesday!
