Pain in stomach few hours after eating
Hello,
I am 3 months out tomorrow, and I am supposed to only eat 3 times a day, however if I do not eat every few hours I get this uncomfortable pain, almost like the gas pain after surgery and it hurts until I make myself have a snack. Once I have a snack the pain will go away for a another few hours. Does anyone else have this?
Thank you
I remember having sharp pains months after surgery. My doctor told me it was my stomach stitches healing and it would take several months for it to heal. Sure enough it went away. Also, I ate 5 meals a day after surgery. Talk to your doctor. Hope you get some relief. :)
Perhaps you need to be on a PPI? My doctor puts all her patients on one for a few months after surgery, but sometimes it needs to be for a longer period? I would call your surgeon.

This seems like it could be acid-related. When you get the pain, try taking a Tums and see if that alleviates the pain.
Talk to your doctor, for sure. You might need to be taking a PPI or H2-blocker.
How much liquid are you getting? Have you tried drinking instead of eating when the pain happens?
