My nutritionist appointment is the 27th December. My doctor said a 6 month as directed and necessary for my insurance approval. A PCP and physiatrist approval letter needed. As well as possible Pulmonoligist and Cardiac clearances. He also, stressed, I read over the strict guidelines and diet which starts from approval to surgery and mostly liquid 2 weeks before surgery. Because if you cannot imagine or follow those rules or guidelines you should want to reconsider. Mainly, because of the complications which can occur if you vary from the diet especially in the beginning couple months. Said many, can easily forget this is a tool, needs us to lay the groundwork and do the work for it to properly be successful. Found him friendly, straightforward and knowledgeable but not sugar coating anything. Any mis step brings you back to step one, no arguments.
