Vitamin Trouble
Ok, so i am 5 and a half weeks post VSG. I am using Opurity Brand vitamins: Calcium (2 tabs two times daily) one multi, one iron. I take them two hours apart and am TRYING to eat when i take them but as you all know I cannot eat very much at one time. So far they have come back up a few times and I AM VERY WARY OF TAKING THEM!
I know i need to take them as i eat mostly protein of course.
Any suggestions? ??
Thanks,
Susan
Which one is making you sick? Can you narrow it down? Try a different brand. Some vitamins make me nauseous, too (One a Day makes me sick but Centrum does not)

Taking them with food is key for me. A poster here, Cappy, found that mixing them into yogurt really helped her.
I take all my vites now timed with my meals and that helps.

Are they chewable vitamins? Post-op, chewable vitamins make me nauseous because they contain sugar alcohols. I also don't like the impact to your teeth.
