Anyone Eating Shirataki Noodles?

Hi. I guess it's time to bring out more questions about Shirataki noodles. Most of the posts on them here are a little old. I've tried them in the past. Just the regular ones, not the tofu ones since I try to avoid soy when I can. I managed to get past the smell, but the texture was like rubber bands to me, complete with squeakiness when I chewed. Has anyone figured out a palatable way Shirataki noodles can be eaten?

Never had them. If you are looking for a noodle substitute, trying spiralizing zucchini, or something similar.

I guess if you were raising hogs, you could feed the Shirataki noodles to them. A few months later you'd have ham.

Does that mean you've tried them and don't have a high opinion of them? I had heard they were just fiber.

I tried them and they made me sick. Not very tasty either.

I've had them. The one thing I remember is that you need to rinse them very thoroughly to get the "fishy" taste/smell off them.

I'm enjoying the Bird's Eye all-vegetable noodles (in the freezer section****asionally, and I use zoodles often.

Honestly, shirataki noodles take up valuable space in your sleeve that would be better filled with protein.

the way to get them palatable is to drain and rinse them well then drop them in salted boiling water for 2-3 minutes. Only way I can get past the smell.
