It's Sunday and no one else has started this yet, so I will. Woo! I've been super busy recently and mostly AFF (Away From Forum, I just made that up). This is the last day of week 6 of my classes, and I've got major assignments due in both. I pretty much finished up one of them yesterday, aside from some formatting, and today I'll get the other one banged out.

QOTD: Do you keep in touch with friends from high school? Do you get to see any on a regular basis? Would you still consider any of your high school friends to be close friends? (I'll answer in a comment.)

1: protein shake
2: leftover frittata if someone else doesn't eat it first!
3: roasted butternut squash and sausage tortellini

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: yoga

How about you?

QOTD: I went to a pretty small high school, there were ~95 people in my graduating class. It was a boarding school and the major downside to this is that my friends are ALL OVER THE PLACE. The upside is that I have people to visit almost everywhere I go. Living in the DC area is also cool, because it's a place that people like to visit! Thanks to the Magic of Faceboo****ep in touch with quite a large number of classmates, at least on a shallow Facebook level. I've been super grateful that I've been able to meet up with around ten classmates throughout the year this year. I had a mini reunion at a friend's house in August for some of my close friend group and this week a friend of mine was in town for the Overcoming Obesity 2018 conference and she and I met up for dinner on Friday. That was super awesome and, due to her own interest in obesity and weight loss, we had very fascinating discussions!

Some of my closest friends have shifted - the person who had been my best friend in high school has sort of drifted out of my life, for example. But other people who weren't as close in high school have become closer now that we're adults. It's pretty neat. :)

Hi guys! I've been AFF (I like it Gwen!), because I'm on a trip to Pittsburgh with my dad! We are here to watch the Steelers play at Heinz field and we've enjoyed exploring the city. I have lots of siblings, so I've literally never spent this much one on one time with my dad and I feel really grateful. Rooting for The Steelers with him has always been our thing. I hope they win tonight, that'll be the cherry on top!

QOTD: I have one friend from high school that I'm still friends with. I was in love with him in high school (unrequited!) but our friendship survived that and he's a great guy. Otherwise I'm "Facebook friends" with a few, but we're not close. The friends I made in my first job out of high school are still my best friends (and one of them is now my husband!)

B - apples and goat cheese

L - protein bar

D - we're eating out before the game somewhere downtown

S - lots of walking

Good morning. It is going to be another nice day here so I'd like to go somewhere for a walk near the ocean as I did yesterday. We leave for a 10 day trip in 2.5 weeks, then go to Florida until mid-December so I have to fit in some appointments and start planning the packing.

QOTD: I always kept in touch with my best friend from high school (from my neighborhood) and now she lives fairly close and her twin sister even closer. Over the years I have reconnected with many other high school friends often at reunions and then supplemented by FB. It has been a great resource!

2.5 Years post-op (maintaining below goal for 22 months)

Always lots of coffee...

B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: Tuna, pickles and cottage cheese

D: pork

S: veggies and hummus

Good Sunday afternoon!

QOTD: Do you keep in touch with friends from high school? Do you get to see any on a regular basis? Would you still consider any of your high school friends to be close friends? I was in a class of 165 (graduated in 70) and I am in touch with about 10 of them. I've lived 3400 + miles away from my hometown since 1984. YES - I would consider 3 very close friends and keep in touch at least weekly. They were treasures all my growing up years (K-12) and remain so.

B: 1/10 of a meat lovers omelette, 1/8 of 1/2 biscuit, and 2 bites of home fries LOTS of coffee

Premier Protein Shake

Butternut squash soup with low fat baby swiss

Chobani LF Greek yogurt

Premier protein shake

BIG cooking day on Tuesday - Moussaka & Baklava as oldest daughter will be home - no I don't eat the baklava but its makes her and my neighbor happy!
