Curious about fluids

I see. So you need to be getting a minimum of 64 ounces of fluids a day and if this is the only thing you're drinking, that's 90 calories just from liquid - so be careful. It's really easy to overdo it on the liquid calories and not realize it.

Otherwise, you can't drink too much. I never had an issue with fluids post-op and was easily able to make my minimum goal from the first day I was home after surgery. We're the lucky ones :)

It's not the only thing I'm drinking. I use it to take my meds. I've been drinking powerade zero and crystal light mostly. I just mentioned the drink lol. Yes I'm happy I'm not having too much trouble getting liquids down. Boy am I full as a tick though when I hit that 64 ozs haha.

No such thing as too many liquids, as long as you're not taking in too many calories as a result. Your body will be happier the better-hydrated it is.
