Hello everyone! I am new to OH and lurked a little bit and you guys seems really friendly and helpful so I thought I'd join! I was sleeved on 9/17/18. I am 3 days post op! Today is easier than the others and I'm curious. I'm not having any issues with fluids. I had 1/2 cup of wonton broth, then another 8 ozs of diet peach juice. Is that normal? I felt full afterwards but I'm worried that maybe I'm drinking too many liquids. Could there be an issue? If yall can give me any info or advice that would be great! Thanks!

Definately not too much liquids were supposed to drink 8 cups a day which is what the first 2 weeks are working up to. Congrats on your sleeve!!!

You are doing so well! I was having so much trouble getting liquid at three days post op. I couldn't even finish a popsicle before it melted in my hand. I had those medicine cups on a tray near me and did half every 30 minutes. I really struggled. Glad to hear you aren't. Being dehydrated is not fun.

Gwen there is quite the selection out there, next time you go to a big market look in the juice aisle, you'll be surprised. I often have a small (3-4oz) diet juice with one of my meds dissolved in it and my surgical team has no issues with it.
