You look great in that outfit! LOL on the holes - I used to get sores when I walked on the beach from thigh rub.

The shoes are sketchers, super light and the top is very stretchy fabric. So far very comfortable but I'll report back after wearing them more for sightseeing!

We are in Dublin airport waiting for our flight to Scotland right now. It is 6 an here (1 am at home).

Oh, and I bought these (at DSW) to go with my Bavarian outfit. Vionic is pretty much the only type of shoe I can wear right now. Can't wait til I can buy from Payless again...SO much cheaper. LOL

But these are absolutely PERFECT for my outfit. I am so pumped! No pun intended. heehee

Once, we went to Bath, England and on the first day, I realized that I had not packed underwear. So, I went to the shop and not really able to triangulate my right size (metric!), I bought a bunch of panties that were a size ir two too big. I'm sure my husband really was into the granny panty look.

I see we had posted this morning at almost the same time lol! I deleted mine finally, so there wasn't two running posts.

I hope you have fun on your trip, Liz! Send us lots of pictures once you can.

QOTD: My favorite item? That's a tough one. Maybe the new fridge for the kitchen, it's not fancy, but we had a big french door fridge and both of us hated it. Now we have a basic fridge and it's perfect for us. Nor very exciting, sorry!

You're the one that had the nightmare with your fridge right? Man, I was feeling it for you! So glad you have one that you love now! (New appliances are VERY exciting to me! As are new cabinet handles - got those this weekend. Just need to refinish and paint the cabinets to go with them now. LOL!)

Sorry about the double posting! I think new fridges are great. I had a French door one in my prior kitchen (DH wanted it), but I didn't like it. I like side by side best.

I'm jealous, Liz!! A trip to Scotland is #1 on my bucket list! I hope you have a wonderful time.

So bummed, my trip to the St Louis Art Museum today to see the Lost Egypt: Sunken Treasures exhibit was cancelled. My friend messed up her knee really bad last night and it was all swollen and she couldn't do the walking. I thought about going alone, but a 2 hour drive there and back by myself wasn't appealing, so I just forfeited my ticket (*sighs). We'll go again another day, I still want to see those Monets!!

QOTD: My new car, Bluebell, that I got at the end of March!! First new car I've had in 14 years, and I am very happy with it. It's so nice not to have to worry about the mechanical part for a change!!

M1: Yogurt w/crunch peanut butter, coffee w/cream and xylitol

M2: Turkey snack sticks, Swirls cheese sticks, zucchini slices w/ranch dressing

M3: Not sure if there will be a 3rd meal, got up late today.

Water and vites on track

E: Nope

Bluebell is adorable! A Chevy, right? Really sporty and sexy...I bet you look and feel great driving it!

I do a lot of solo driving for work...just last trip I bought a book on tape. I've never been able to get in to those, but I enjoyed the heck out of it! Had to back it up a few times because I was distracted by something else, but I surprisingly really enjoyed listening to it on my 5 hour drive!

Edit: OH! Hubs and I went to a Monet exhibit when we got married in Vegas 14 years ago. It was breathtaking! Best part of the trip. Haha...well, I guess getting hitched was the best part, but definitely go see it!

Thanks,Tessie, and yes, it's a Chevy Sonic. And I am hooked on audiobooks. Listened to my first one in 2003 on an 18-hour drive to Philadelphia, and have been hooked every since! I always have one loaded on my computer and listen to a book while I'm puttering around the house. Beats the heck out of TV noise!
