Thanks for starting the thread, Liz! Annie, please do start the thread if no one else has...I'm sure you have some good questions you could post!
I just completed two days of training on InDesign. It was amazing training, now I just have to apply it and try to decipher all my notes from it. None of the Adobe Suite packages are easy to learn...but I'm determined to at least be able to use it somewhat competently. The instructor is a genius in all Adobe products and is available for questions...I imagine I'll be sending him lots of emails! I was out of town for two days and packed all my own food. I do a lot of in-state traveling (by car mostly) for work, and my pattern has always been that my traveling companion is junky food. In my car...had my favorite places to load up, my snack foods on the seat next to me...it's a big adjustment for me to have my meals planned and packed, and to not hit my favorite places for chow. PCBR gave me a great idea (thanks girl!) to get some podcasts to listen to. I I am willing to try it...I've tried to listen to audio books, but I really haven't been able to get into them. I'm usually too busy critiquing the reader's voice or inflections. LOL!
I was in the car far too long, and chose to lengthen the journey a bit in order to reduce the awful stress and rage I experience in the godawful traffic. Seattle all the way south to where I am is said to be one of the top 5 worst-traffic in the NATION and I really believe it. So I had a nice ferry ride, then a drive home the back way. Only added maybe a half hour on to my trip, and was SO less stressful. Yesterday was exceptionally bad for traffic as Pearl Jam did a concert at Safeco Field and sold it out. UGH.
QOTD: Are you or someone you know sometimes (or always) a fanatic about something to the point where it isn?t always healthy for either yourself or others? I've been wracking my brain on this one. I honestly can't think of anyone I know who has an unhealthy obsession...maybe my 25 year old son and his gaming, but he holds down a full-time job, so it's not interfering with a normal life. I guess. Sometimes I nag him about it (he spends a lot of money on games and the equipment, but he insists that he doesn't over-do it. He's a grown up and it's his money, so c'est la vie!

D: Maybe some pork tenderloin
S: Depends on if I need more protein
I have deep water cardio tonight and I'm actually looking forward to it! I missed Tuesday because of being out of town and I really DID miss it! I keep intending to pick up my kettlebells again and start swinging, but I just haven't done it yet. No excuses. I have my 2-month follow-up next week so I'll probably wait until after then so my weigh-in will be more accurate.
Hi guys! It's been a crazy couple of days. My nephew is staying with us, I've been working extra hours and we may be moving unexpectedly.
B - coffee & protein
L - yogurt and almonds
D - beef tacos
E - yoga

Our landlord has decided to sell the house we are renting. There is some language in the lease that allows him to do so with a certain amount of notice.

Thank you. Moving is pretty awful! We are looking into possibly buying our first home now which is an exciting prospect but brings about a certain amount of work and stress. It's just hard not knowing what is going to happen.

Hey all. Have been on the move all day. Lots going on! Will have to vent in the thread tomorrow since I don't have it in me to type it all up on my phone screen! Still wanted to get my menu posted. Under calories today, but better than yesterday.
