Hi Guys, I am about 3 months post op and I have been struggling with severe constipation. Sure, I am going to buy some softners to get the job done. My concern is what if I've somehow already damaged my new stomach. Is there a possibility of streaching your pouch due to straining when attempting a BM?

No, Mo. You're good. I hope everything resolves itself soon.

Thanks. I've been stalled 2-weeks and I'm just nervous I've somehow broken my tool.

A lot of us find that taking Miralax on a somewhat regular basis helps with this. For instance, if I don't have a bowel movement on any given day, I take a dose of Miralax the next day. Constipation is no fun at all. :/

You have a sleeve, not a pouch, and you can't stretch it from pooping.

Right. Good to know. I will also add Miralax. Thank you.
