Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Thursday, 8/2/2018
I get in my 64 fl. oz. minimum now. which is what they want me to get in.
I am suppose to keep my protein at no less than 60g. but they prefer me to go 80-100g. I am typically hitting 60g (never less than 50g) and now I can get a bit more - today I got close to 100g. I keep my carbs below 30g and my sodium below 2000mg.
Happy Thursday! Wow Gwen 7 miles!! I finally just hit 2 miles yesterday lol. Getting ready to take my son to the dentist. Then have to visit my grandmother later because she is having surgery tomorrow and is very scared/nervous.
QOTD - I definitely have seasonal depression. I hate cold or rainy weather. I am always cold so winter just makes my whole body hurt. I also hate being stuck in the house with nothing to do. One or two days of rain is ok but if its raining for days or weeks I can't stand it, it just makes me miserable.

Hi guys! I feel like I'm getting over my funk and I'm fully back on plan. The jail just went on lockdown due to a fight breaking out so my afternoon group is canceled. I guess I'll head over to the prison a little early and do paperwor****il my next group.
QOTD: I suffer from what I call "reverse seasonal depression" because I have consistently experienced depression in the summer over the past several years. I absolutely cannot stand hot humid weather so I tend to hide out during the summer months. This summer has been much better because I don't feel as sick in the heat since losing weight and my dad got a boat so we spend more time on the water together. I actually like rainy weather, I love storms, and I get giddy in the snow, so I'm kind of an odd man out for weather.
B - coffee & protein
L - yogurt and almonds
D - shrimp and broccoli
E - yoga

I did my run and managed all 7 miles! I'm super proud of myself for this! :D
QOTD: I was diagnosed with Seasonal Affective Disorder when I was younger, and I definitely used to get down in the winters. Thankfully this is largely under control thanks to awesome lightbulbs and getting out more and being active in general. I definitely could never live in Norway, though!

Hey all, stressful, busy day. Finally just got home to rest, and by rest I mean stay up ALLLL night because I have to get into my night shift schedule for the weekend. I feel like going to work is the only place I have to rest, lol. Thank God I work nights. I told my grandma that we are no longer going to cater to the craziness of my mother. From now on, AT LEAST one day a week is our day. Wednesday is senior day at all our thrift stores, so we're going to spend Wednesdays doing the things we enjoy, having lunch out together and forgetting everyone else.
QOTD: Weather seems to impact my energy more than my mood. Rainy weather makes me want to nap all day, and I sleep the best when its raining, or storming. Love thunderstorms. Sunny days I want to be out running around and doing things.
Mersh that is the perfect way to handle the mom/daughter issue for you and for your grandmother! It is a super good plan so try very hard to keep it just the two of you to go and enjoy life and not have all that stress!
