It's Wednesday, which means fitness class day. I also got all my grades in for my WRTG class, so it's officially finished with a hard-earned A. Not all of my classes are that challenging!

Im going walking with a friend this morning so I'm looking forward to that.
Qotd I like to play games on my phone and iPad, play mostly word games.
B ham and cheese omelette, string cheese and pork and beans
L tuna, cottage cheese and banana
D leftovers from restaurant last night, chicken strips, green beans with bacon and California blend
Have a good day
Happy Hump Day! Congrats on the A - I'm sure you earned it.
QOTD: I love the Wii - although haven't played in a long time. I was the champ for basketball - and my family says it's because I'm the shortest - and it's an advantage on the Wii - sure! Also, when we go camping we always bring an old-school deck of cards and a cribbage board. I enjoy that quit a bit.
B: english muffin, egg, sausage and cheese - yes, it's a huge breakfast. Doubtful if I will eat all of it or even half of it but it tastes good
L: Having a salad party at work. I put out a sign up sheet and everyone brings in a component of a salad and we all eat together. Always wonderful toppings and it's a good team building event which my boss loves - brownie points for me.
D: still without refrigeration so probably take out or maybe pick up a steak on the way home and grill
E: a walk for sure - weather is supposed to improve
L/V: on track
VSG on 04/28/2014
My parents loved playing cribbage, but I've never actually played! My mom and I enjoy playing Chickenfoot - a dominoes game :)

Good morning! Wednesday is my longest day, so I always have to give myself a mid-morning pep talk. I've got personal training at lunch and then I have to go to three more facilities. The rest of the week is downhill :)
QOTD: I grew up in a poker family. I remember watching my parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles play. Sometimes my uncle would tip me a quarter for getting him a beer or for being good luck but eventually my grandpa would shout "no kids at the poker table!" and I'd run off. I got to join the table at 18, and that was a big deal. Now me, my parents, and siblings all play Texas hold 'em and we're the ones running the kids off from the table. They can join when they're 18. :)
B - coffee & protein
L - yogurt, a few blueberries & strawberries, almonds
D - shrimp & broccoli
E - personal training (weights)

QOTD: I am a theoretical gamer, when I have time. I love board games, my favorites are by Fantasy Flight Games - things like Arkham Horror and Elder Sign. I like playing Hearts with normal cards. Magic: the Gathering ruled my life for about a decade. I like video games, but I'm super picky - the Bioshock series is my favorite. I like to roleplay as well, but RPGs have lost their luster for me over the years. Too many bad gaming groups and it's too hard to find that sort of time, plus coordination with other busy adults is pretty much impossible at this point in my life. I still consider myself a gamer, though :D

Hello All! Went to the surgeons' office today for my 4 week check up good news and not bad but disappointing news. First off that pain in my tummy/diaphragm area is actually a bit to the left of both and appears to be the muscle there, try using ice when bad and if not gone in 2 weeks give them a call. So the sugar AM tests being a bit high was expected by them, seems when you are a diabetic on the MAX meds and you go off it can take things awhile to notice that you are healthier, so I have to go back on a reduced amount of one of the meds for about 2 months which was disappointing to me. The super good is I have done top of the line in weight loss, BP and all my other numbers are super. I can now go to soft/real foods just no steak, pork, beans or potatoes yet. I have to drop my carbs and up my proteins. So, yes even with the ups and downs and yes, some pain VSG is very much worth it.
QOTD: Are you gamer? What kinds of games do you like to play? (Board games, card games, roleplaying games, video games, etc.) On my phone (solitaire) or online at FB (Criminal Case) We do play Cribbage which I LOVE but have to have a partner so we don't play as often these days.
Water, water, water! OK not enough water still, but I have improved my fluids greatly!
M1: Mozzarella Cheese Stick
M2: Deli Turkey Breast, Hummus
M3: Protein Powder 11/2 serving, Dragon Frui****er (8 oz.)

Happy Wednesday, everyone! It's midterms week for me, and I am in the throes of writing my midterm paper for Art History. I hate writing papers, LOL! But at least I get to pick the artist and it's my favorite, Monet, so at least I'm interested in what I'm writing! My American Sign Language class is going well, but wow is it hard! So different from the Signed English class I took nearly 40 years ago! I'm managing though and learning a little! Only 4 weeks left of classes, then I get certified to substitute teach...I'm super excited about that, so all the pain of classes will be worth it!
Only 3 weeks left of my summer camp job, and that's a bummer, but I'll be back next year!
QOTD: I grew up in a game playing family...we played them all, card, board games, charades, trivia. I still love playing them all but just nobody to play with anymore :( We used to have some cutthroat games of Monopoly! lol I enjoy PC adventure games, like Syberia, Still Life, and The Longest Journey when I can find good ones, and I play PC Solitaire and other stuff like that when I listen to audio books.
B: Coffee w/cream and xylitol
L: Turkey sausage sticks, smoked Gouda cheese, fresh zucchini slices
D: Something easy while I study, probably pork rinds and spinach dip, maybe a hamburger if I feel motivated!
Water and vites on track
E: Nope
Good afternoon. I spent the morning booking fall trips and making calls. Still waiting for some call-backs at 4 in the afternoon... We did go kayaking in the middle of the day, but the stupid wheels we use to get our kayaks to the pond are not working well (keep collapsing). I need something better.
QOTD: Nope, no games of any type. I never got into computer games because I was in IT and the last thing I wanted to do was play on them (now shopping is another story...). DH can't play board or card games anymore so that's out.
2 Years, 3.5 months post-op (maintaining at goal for 19.5 months)
Always lots of coffee...
B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon
L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese
D: Leftover pork kabobs with peppers
S: Nut thins and hummus, yogurt
