That last drop happened during the pre-op diet. My surgeon opted not to have that weight put in my official record so that there wouldn't be an insurance issue. They used my last weight at the office (and an "unofficial" one for the anesthesiologist).

That is awesome! I get the feeling that the surgeons office really does what to do everything they can do to help get the surgery done. Thank you for all your help!

I called the insurance company and they emailed me a copy of the section of my policy that related to WLS.

I I have heard of people being told not to lose weight because of insurance. Make sure your appointment is after a meal or at the end of the day. You will naturally weigh more.
