When does the hair loss stop?!

I'm 16 weeks post-op and am going through the dreaded hair loss phase. Curious on how long it lasts, anyone care to share their experience?

From what I've seen people report here over the past few years, it slows at about 9 months post-op for most people.

The hair loss began at exactly 3 months post-surgery and started slowing 9 months after surgery. I'm almost to my 1 yr surgiversary and there is minimal hair in the brush now.

Phew!! 9 months post-op doesn't seem that far away, glad to hear it slows down!! :) Thanks for the insight ya'll.

I agree. From 3 month to about 9 months I noticed my hair was quite thin. I'm now just over a year past surgery and have a lot of hair growing back in. My hair stylist was shocked at all my new growth. Of course those new hairs are shorter and it will take a while to catch up with my shoulder length hair, but it will happen!
