Happy Sunday! I actually managed to finish all of my tasks for school yesterday, which is astounding considering they're not due until today. All I have left is one forum reply and I always save those for last since they're relatively easy. I needed to finish yesterday, though, since today is Cookbook Club and I'm hosting! I'll be cooking Patatas Bravas and Croquetas de Jamón Serrano y Pollo. Yay!

QOTD: Are you an introverted or extroverted person? Do you think this has changed at all over the course of your life?

1: protein shake
2: leftover tamale hash, fried egg
3: Cookbook Club! I'm making chicken and ham croquetas (we're using José Andrés book of tapas), so those will at least be good and protein-y.

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: yoga at home

How about you? What's happening in your world today?

After a rocky start yesterday, DH, Justice and I had a good walk along the ocean. It got a bit warm, but was so pretty. A few pictures below. Justice is decorated with beach roses and resting under the memorial bench for DD on the harbor.

QOTD: You'd think this would be an easy question but it isn't for me. I think I am more introverted than extroverted. I like to be alone a lot (except for dogs who don't intrude like humans). But I bet some people would think I am extroverted because I can be very talkative in certain settings and at work I was pretty opinionated.

2 Years, 3.5 months post-op (maintaining at goal for 19.5 months)

Always lots of coffee...

B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese

D: Burger with no bun and salad (at a cookout)?

S: shrimp or veggies (I'm bringing them to the cookout)

Cape Cod (and New England coastline) is just the most beautiful (IMO)!

I've never been. My mom goes to cape cod with her best friend every year and the photos are always stunning! I would probably like the beaches there much more as our South Carolina beaches are soooo hot most of the year and I'm not a heat person.

Wow - just beautiful! Justice is precious! Has a lot less hair than my Sophie! She got a bath today and I was taking pics of her outside and as soon as I was done she beat feet to the door...she wanted back in the cool house. It's in the 90's today! Not typical for around here. At least there's a light breeze.

I like really short hair on my doggies! Of course they still shed, but hopefully that season is mostly done. Being originally a Florida dog, Justice seems to enjoy the heat and humidity. As I type this, I'm on the deck in the shade but he is sunbathing.

Good morning, - and beautiful pictures, Liz. thanks for sharing. Justice is a cutie! I'm going to a bridal shower today which I am looking forward to because I'll see all my cousins!

Oh, on the refrigerator news - you won't believe it. The new repair person came yesterday, absolutely confident he could fix it... explained everything he was doing to me - showed me the valves and that they were operating, etc. Well, needless to say - IT DIDN'T WORK. The frig is cold but the freezer is the same temp as the house. I'm throwing in the towel and getting a refund and a new frig.

B: i've been on a bagel kick with my jam... so maybe 1/2 a bagel

L: at the shower

D: probably just pick since I expect to be full after the shower

Sounds like it is best to get a new one. SIL had a similar experience with a new refrigerator and was incredibly frustrated. After many service visits, the first one was replaced with the same model but it had the same problem! It turned out that there was a problem with the circuit boards on a whole bunch of the refrigerators. Once the manufacturer figured that out, they replaced the board and the Frig has worked like a champ since then.

Hi guys! It's a hot one today, so the fam and I are heading out for a swim.

QOTD: I've never been able to figure out if I'm an introvert or extrovert. I don't need a ton of alone time, and I absolutely love spending time talking and talking and talking with people I'm close to. But I'm uncomfortable in a crowd, hate public speaking, I despise small talk and am a total failure at mingling. Whatever that is, it's the way I've always been.

B - protein and coffee

L - breakfast Sausage and cheese balls

D - ? TBD

S - yogurt

E - swimming
