WHAT IS THE BEST PROTEIN SHAKE?
Hello group,
I am currently on Baritrack but they changed the formula and how it is too high on sugar, calories and carbs and I stopped losing
can anyone recommend a good protein shake that will keep me full and help me on my weigh loss journey

Look for something with at least 10g protein per 100 calories. Whey isolate is absorbed the best, and soy protein is also a good choice.
Premier Protein drinks are popular, and many people here like the Syntrax nectar as well.
Check out your local vitamin shop, many of them sell single-serve packets of different protein drinks so you can try different ones before buying in bulk.

I like Premiere Protein chocolate. Their other flavors are too sweet for me, but you might like them. They are low carb, 30 gr of protein, and only 160 calories. I still try to drink one each day, even if it's in coffee. I find that it's hard to eat enough to get to the 80 gr. protein goal without them!
I hate ready made shakes. They all taste gross to me.
My preferred shake is 1/2 syntrax mint cookie, 1/2 optimum nutrition double rich chocolate, 8 ounces unsweetened almond milk. All into a Blender Bottle, shake up, drink. Yum.
Nashua Nutrition offers sample packs of a lot of popular protein powders.

I keep expecting to get sick of them, but I've pretty much had at least one shake a day for the last 4.5 years and it hasn't happened yet! (I started off with just the chocolate. The mint got added maybe 2 year in.)

I just ordered a sample pack of (all?) the syntrax flavors, so I'll definitely have to try this one out. ATM I have the optum nutrition vanilla ice cream, which was always my go-to but now, I seem to have lost the taste for it. May have to steal a little of my friends chocolate powder and mix it with the mint to try it out!

the mint cookie is one of their Matrix flavors - I think those sample packs are all from their Nectar line. Nectar flavors are whey protein isolate; their Matrix line flavors are a protein blend. Isolate is the way to go early on the process because it's the best absorbed. Once you're further out and are getting a lot of your protein from your food, blends are OK. I do drink the blends sometimes now - they have some great flavors! Although a lot of their Nectar line flavors are really good, too!

I have thought about trying syntax, their flavors sound delicious. I have been looking at cheaper shake alternatives though.
