Nurse Question lol

OK, just had to share this. When I was at my Dr. office the intake nurse, now to be fair my surgeon does many different procedures not all gastric related. OK, so she askes about my diet and I tell her Broth, SF Jell-O, SF popsicles. AND she ask me, what is your reason for following this diet? and I look at her, chuckled a bit, then pointed out the room door towards the surgeons office and said: because that man I pay a great deal of money to told me to! She was a bit confused and I said he did a VSG on me. I just found it funny, earlier in the week the other intake asked me if I was hungry or if I was overeating etc. Again I had to laugh, OK I actually laughed. I just since they have your chart they might ought to look at it to see why you are there.

Next time, just lift your shirt and show them your 5 cute little incisions.

Well. Hmm.. looking at the chart before asking questions seems like a good idea! :)
