Tip for newbies like me: Don't forget to take your PPI!

My doc has me taking Prisolec for 3 months post surgery...as a preventative.
I have a prescription for it - SOOOO much cheaper than buying it OTC, even as self-pay. Insurance won't cover it since it's available OTC.
How'd you like your egg bites? I hope you like them as much as I do!

I'm going to need to get on this egg bite train.
I had issues with reflux pre surgery (I know all the talk about not doing vsg with prior reflux issues...but it's something my surgeon and I discussed at length and I did research on etc), so I'm kind of used to popping my omeprazole every morning. I did wind up having a hiatal hernia which was repaired, but I think I'd be too afraid to stop taking them because of how sick I'd get if I didn't.
And what are these egg things? I may need to check them out. .

My doc gave them to me to promote healing. No real reflux issues for me, unless I way over ate, or indulged excessively in anything sugary/bready. I had the hiatal hernia repair, too. Mine was small, but I can only imagine that it helps.
As for the egg bites! TessieLoo has a very versatile recipe for making egg bites using an instant pot and a silicone mold that fits in said. Her method worked really well for me! They came out fluffy and delicious, and just about the perfect size for a morning "meal".
