I hit a milestone today
on 6/23/18 3:30 pm
Today I reached 220 lbs lost from my starting weight. I started out at 481 lbs.Today, for the third time in about a month, I saw 261 lbs on the scale. It may not be permanent. I've bounced up as far as 264 lbs. but I am getting there. In any case I am happy. I was fat shamed here for being at a BMI of 35. This is my BMI of 35. I can't say what I'd like to the fat shamers. I'd be banned. I'd rather stick around and irritate them.
WOW! Looking great! Congrats!

How did you add all that info under your ticker?

Cheri, click the little gear symbol up on the right next to your name, then choose "settings".
On the next page, at the top are three tabs, choose "Message Boards".
You'll be able to add a signature on that window!
Hope this helps!

You look great! BMI is a number I do not fully understand. It has so many factors involved and I don't know how accurate just a weight vs height chart is anyway. My BMI is the last thing I worry about

From what I have read, BMI seems to be based on early 19th century medical understanding. You'd think they would update their thinking some. The only place where I have any concern is for insurance. Even my surgeon laughs at the BMI tables.
