Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Friday, 6/1/2018
on 6/1/18 6:02 am
Good morning! I'm getting ready to head into work for a few hours to do some busy work essentially again. It's no big deal to me, I can do paperwork/secretarial work in my sleep!
Got up this morning around 6 to mow the lawn before breakfast. Neighbors probably didn't like me very much, but I have to fit it in somewhere since it's going to be very hot today and I'll be out tonight on a date. I get to choose, so of course I'll go somewhere I know the calorie counts of, which should be a requirement EVERYWHERE. I hate looking some place up and they have no nutrition menu.
QOTD: What are your weekend plans?!
No plans past Friday night plans. Will probably just relax this weekend, work around the house cleaning and tending to the gardens.
Calories are a bit lower, will see about making them up at some point.
Good morning Mersh and menu folks, for a short week, this feels like a long week. My allergies have been bothering me!
QOTD - we need to finish planting the garden, stain the front porch and do some odd things around the house , once completed we may head to camp on Saturday night.

Good morning,
Im taking my friend apartment hunting today since we got paid today. Tonight is support group. Not sure what the rest of the weekend will be except church. I might be getting a new couch from my dad if my nephew can help my brother
Yesterday the doctor put me on an antibiotic for my spider bites and he wanted me to cover them that sure made it itch more. Thought I had some Benadryl left but didn't. It got better over time. I got bit last September too by a spider in my apartment.

Good morning!
I need to stay busy this weekend so I don't start stressing out about my upcoming surgery. I'll probably continue to work on my de-cluttering...husband will be working all weekend so I'll be able to toss a lot of stuff and he'll never know it. He's a pack-rat, even worse than I am! It causes some contention between us quite often. I'm getting worked up just thinking about it. LOL
I remember surgery day like it was yesterday, I was nervous and trying to hide it. My doc came to see me while being prepped and said "Duff , you got this" and then I was relaxed. Happy for you, WLS is the best decision I have made in my life.

Only six more days! The anticipation is the worst. I found that surgery went smoother for me than I ever thought it would.

Enjoy your date tonight! It is mid-day here now. When I got on the scale this morning I discovered I had lost 3.4 pounds since Tuesday. I'm pretty sure that is water and I must have been full of "you-know-what". Some people think that and apparently it is true!
QOTD: We are going out to a new Italian restaurant on the water tonight with friends. Beautiful place and the restaurant is affliliated with another nearby with great food, so it should be enjoyable. No plans tomorrow but we are going to an Irish festival on Sunday with friends. DH loves Irish music and the weather now looks good (was originally going to rain), so that should be fun.
