QOTD: I traveled a lot from 2002-2012. All over the U.S. plus a few trips outside of it. And I really just got traveled out. I think I'm starting to enjoy it again a little bit now, but I'm really happy to be home. I do like the act of traveling, though. I love driving and the whole process flying is sort of exciting!

Good morning,

Been to the laundromat and got my stuff put away.

Have a Doctor appt at 1:00 for whatever bites I have on my arm and leg. They look nasty.

Qotd I like to travel by car or plane. Each of their advantages and disadvantages.

B egg mcmuffin and hash brown

L tuna, cottage cheese and kale salad

D spaghetti meat sauce and zoodles, broccoli and a few strawberries and whipped cream leftover.

Have a good day

As Joanna Gaines says, "Today is a good day for a good day!" and indeed it is. I'm got my puppers laying next to me on the couch, YouTube playing in the background, and salmon baking in the oven for lunch. Definitely looking forward to the weekend as I'm going to plants some beautiful flowers in my backyard pots and get a few hanging baskets. I just love this time of year when everything outside starts to bloom.

I enjoy the act of traveling! I find the airport exciting and the people watching A+. But sitting on the airplane is a pain because the seats are so darn narrow.

I love traveling, but being morbidly obese makes it not as comfortable as it could be. I've been abroad only 3 times (Thailand, Turkey and Japan) but I didn't even get a passport until I was in my late 40's! The only thing I hate about flying is the security (TSA) wait. I never had to wait like that in the other countries, and they were very thorough with security.

Here's my menu for today (Day 8 of Pre-Op diet)

And I have to share a pic of my dinner...I made lemon-caper chicken, with no oil. Just cooked it in lemon juice. YUMMY. I hope I can still tolerate chicken breast post-surgery. (That is a Pocahontas plate I'm eating off of HA)
