Good morning! This is the last Monday that we have SCHOOL, so that's nice! Woo-hoo! This summer, I'll be working at Circle K and tutoring to make a little extra money to hopefully put on my credit card bills. My wife accepted a much better paying job in Tennessee, so that's nice. I'm hoping it makes next year easier on us.

I got a new tutoring student for the summer, and she seems like a GREAT kid! She's in foster care and missed a couple years of school, so we will have a busy summer. I really love tutoring because I get to work with kids one-on-one.

QOTD: Well, we stay VERY busy, so we don't get any "down" time usually. We both have multiple jobs, so a vacation is usually a three or four-day affair with work the next day after returning. Sometimes it will take us a week to unpack and catch up on stuff afterwards.

B: a handful of almonds

L: Tuna lunch kit (230 cal...NOT the one with the cookie, lol!)

D: Unsure...turkey tenderloin or turkey sausage and eggs

Snacks: Almonds, maybe half a protein shake, hopefully some yogurt when I get home

Hello all! Day 13 post plastics and I am feeling a bit better. Pain hasn't been a huge issue, but who knew there were so many other things that would drive me insane with surgery?! I was prepared for pain, not so much the rest of it (immobility, 4 days of urge incontinence, long term dependence on others, feeling gross, being uncomfortable all the time, no appetite but having to eat a lot of protein, the tiredness, itching, endless wound care...). It'll be worth it, but I was over this about a week ago and I have weeks it feels yet to go.

QOTD: I need about a week after vacation to get back to normal!

B - protein shake, egg white turkey sausage sandwich

L - protein shake, turkey, cheese

D - chili, Fritos (friend left them here. I have lost weight with the healing, so I'm eating them!)

D - protein shake, yogurt

On the plus side, your next PS should be a lot easier to handle from most reports. Maybe that's why your surgeon breaks them up this way (so you get the tough stuff over with first?).
