They were the lesser of all evils, I need to get some groceries and was out of Yogurt this morning!!!! Boo!

Good morning all,

I have not been posting much, although I still check in and read. Started a new aspect to my job last Sept and it's been a crazy ride. Lots of hours -- like over 50% more hours. Working on the weekend every weekend. Finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. Through it all my weight has been pretty stable although I really have to watch it. It can creep on so very fast. Right now I'm up 3 lbs over my limit. Time to buckle down. I'm going to concentrate on cutting out my grazing, and upping my water.

As far as the QOTD: It usually just takes me a day or two to feel normal. It's best if I have time to unpack my suitcase the same day as return. Wash clothes the next day and then I'm good to go. Diet usually takes several days but I try to jump back on immediately.

Hey friends! I am waiting for my orientation to start. In the papers they said hey provided breakfast. I had an inkling, so ate at home. Sure enough the breakfast is all doughnuts and muffins. A dietician called me back and I am getting in for my RMR test early! Tomorrow 6 am before my orientation at 8. Really excited to know where I'm at.

QOTD: Never took a big vacation, so don't know.

No attachment of my meals today :(

Breakfast-2 egg omelette with String cheese that I ate half of and then dropped the other half

Lunch-protein shake

Dinner-kids plate broiled tilapia from red lobster

snacks-oikos triple zero orange creme and cheese stick.

Cool, damp day in SEKansas-unusual for the season, and enjoying it immensely.

Yesterday crazy with the food. Still haven't figured out the summer pattern yet, and at 10:0something, just gave up, drank some water and called it a wash-

Protein- 38, Carbs- 36, Calories-620, liquids good. I did enjoy a full serving of almonds- easy to grab and so tasty, too. Easy to overindulge the good for you foods- so no substitute for a meal. Back to the drawing board.

I love almonds and they are good for you in moderation, but it is the moderating that is my problem. Though they do have some laxative effects for me and I could use that right now...

Good morning,

I had a relaxing weekend, spent yesterday with my dad and stepmom. Talked to my dad about my childhood and he didn't know some stuff that went on with my mom and my brother.

Qotd usually a few days, only travelled one time zone from me so I don't know what a lot of time zones would do.

Good morning everyone! I just made it in under the cut. My morning meeting was canceled, now I'm heading into neurofeedback and then I have two groups at the women's prison. Rylan has his last baseball game tonight! I am so glad for the season to be over, it took up so much time.

QOTD: We were just on a weeklong vacation the week before last, and it took me an entire week to get back to normal. I had the post vacation blues and did not feel like doing any real life stuff haha. And I didn't get unpacked and do all the laundry until this weekend. So Yep, a full week.

Good morning and welcome back Gwen! Sounds like you are diving right back into you busy schedule. At least you will only have one class for awhile until your others begin.

Going out to lunch today with a good friend, then we are going to hike up to a bench she dedicated to her husband after he passed away. It is in their favorite place they used to sit and watch the sunset.

QOTD-I usually go into post vacation blues every time I travel, so it takes me awhile to get back to feeling normal. I think it took me a full two weeks when I got home from Palm Springs last February:-)
