3 months out :) and feeling great
Well I will be honest, the first week out of surgery I was so mad at myself that I did this surgery, but as time passed I have learned that it was the best thing I ever did. I have learned how to eat the right way, and I even love going to the gym now, because I could see my muscles starting to show. I was taken off my high blood pressure medication within the second week out of surgery. So in 3 months I'm already 70 pounds down :)
HW 280, Day of surgery 02/06/2018 264 lb, as of today 05/18/2018 210 lb my goal weight is between 180 and 190.
For the people thinking about the surgery. My opinion is, only have it if you are willing to change the way you eat. This surgery is just a tool, and you are the one in controlling this tool.
Well done! Dig the spiffy white dogs in the after picture. Funny how, when you lose weight, the slip-on-flop style of shoe is not always the go to style. Nothing better than being able to easily and effortlessly tie a pair of good looking shoes!

Great job! I really needed this inspiration today, as I am three weeks out, suffering from heartburn and nausea, and really, really missing food. I'm starting to regret my surgery--so it is nice to hear that someone else that had regrets in now doing so well.
Best of luck with the next 20-30 pounds. You look great!

Don't worry it will get better. I learned that food was controlling me not me controlling it. So I learned to eat things that I like and make it my way but in a healthy way. Good luck and stay strong you will get better.
