a few weeks ago I posted about getting nasty news about blood work after surgery, which looked like it might be lymphoma. I?ve had two more blood tests done since and as of now my blood work is NORMAL. Talk about taking a weight off. I had chemo 10 years ago for breast cancer and a possible side effect of that was leukaemia, so I was pretty worried. Now I have even more to be grateful for.
also my latest blood work shows I don?t need nearly as much syntheoid as I've been taking because I?ve lost so much weight (only 38 pounds so far, but obviously that?s enough for this to happen)
i went into a store a week ago to pick up a gift for a friend and they had these lovely tops that looked way smaller than anything I?ve worn in 30 years so I asked about the size and they said they were one-size-fits-all, and I thought sure, if you?re 12 years old. But I decided to buy a couple because they were 70 percent off nd I figured I could put them aside for the end of the summer. When I got home I?d decided to torture myself by trying them on, and, dammit THEY FIT!! I couldn?t believe it.
i also bought myself a couple nighties from April Cornell online, ordering medium for later in the summer as I was wearing XL AND THEY FIT TOO. Holy cow.
I feel so light on my feet these days. So happy to be alive.
