Good morning! I woke up early. Spring means demon birds in the backyard squawking and singing from before dawn every morning. Grrr. Where's a good cat when you need one? Must find my earplugs.

QOTD: Cathy and I are in the same boat. My mom passed away and I don't have kids, so Mother's Day is sad and the ads on tv for gifts and people wishing me a happy Mother's Day when I'm not a mom is just irritating. Is there a Grinch equivalent for Mother's Day? Jeez, I sound crabby today! Must work on that...

B - coffee, yogurt, berries, grain free granola

L - egg white turkey sausage sandwich

D - mussels, asparagus

S - protein shake and something undecided

Cecily, what brand of granola do you use? Or do you make your own?

I use Kitchfix Honey Pecan granola. Just 1/2 an ounce on my yogurt so a bag lasts me a while! I used to buy it on Amazon, but they were spotty with availability so I ordered several bags directly from Kitchfix and have been working through it for a while. It's pretty much just nuts. Yummy. They have other flavors but they have dried fruit and I didn't need the extra sugar.

PS - hope you feel better soon!

That's a pretty good carb count, I might give this a try. I have been using Purely Elizabeth's Granola and the carb count is not as low. I have tried everything, cuz I love granola and can't seem to let it go!

It tastes really good. The calories are high because it's all nuts, but it's great for sprinkling on yogurt.

That's exactly what I want it for, and it has no grains or oats!

Well phooey. Very promising, except they all have either honey or maple syrup or some other added sugar, which isn't keto. I found this one I may give a try: http://www.wickedstuffed.com/keto-recipes/crunchy-keto-grano la-grain-free-low-carb/

If I get motivated enough, that is lol

Ooh, that sounds good. I will say the combo of nuts in the one I get is good. Your recipe seems like one where you could switch up the nuts to your liking... I may have to try that!

I jus****ched The Magic Pill about keto on Netflix. Intriguing...
