Surgery Tomorrow

What a wave of emotions! Excited, nervous, scared...the list goes on and on. Has anyone here ever felt regret for their decision?

My only regret was not having done it sooner! You'll be great! It's not a cake-walk by any means but you'll get through it and you'll be SO happy you did.

Make sure to keep before photos to look at to see how far you've come. I'm almost 6 years out and I still need to look at them.

I've also made an Instagram account, strictly for my journey. It helps SO much to see other people, men and women and what they've gone through, good and bad.

(I don't know how to fix that doggone ticker....)

Day 4 in the hospital. Horrible dry heaves the first 2 1/2 days. Incisions are red, hot and swollen and a wicked headache. So far, this experience has sucked big time! Hoping to go home tomorrow and hopefully on to better days

My advice over the coming weeks is to rest lots and listen to your body. Walk and sip as much as you can

Congrats on your upcoming surgery. No regrets here. So far my journey has been awesome. My life and mobility have greatly improved in just a short time.

I questioned it early on, but since after about 6 weeks I haven't had a moment's regret. Good luck!
