Whatcha eating Today VSGers? Sunday, 4/22/2018
Good morning, all! I had a lovely walk with my bereavement group yesterday. It was a 5k Walk/Run for fundraising. Lance went with me as a runner and won his age group - woo! My group walked and talked, so we had a good time.
Today I have nothing scheduled so I turned my alarm off... and still woke up at my regular time anyway. "Yay." I've actually finished all of my school work for the week already, so I'm going to start working on the big paper I've got due next weekend. Looking forward to making some early progress on that!
QOTD: When you have the option to sleep in or stay up late, do you? Or do you tend to stick to the same schedule? (I'll answer in a comment.)
1: protein shake
2: lamb stew
3: pork chili with beans, tomato, and cumin
4: I need to eat something else in here somewhere, since I'm taking a steroid for a few days and I've got to take it with food. So I'll eat smaller meals than normal and eat an extra time, I just don't know yet what the extra meal will be. Maybe eggs.
liquid and vites: on track
exercise: home PT exercises for feet and neck
How about you?

Good morning! The sun is out here and I think it is going to be a beautiful spring day! We will take a long walk on the beach with Justice.
QOTD: I am usually on the same schedule, which I have been changing since retirement. Up until I retired in November I was up at 4:30 am and in bed at 8:30 pm almost always. Even if I stayed up later I would wake up at 4:30. Now, I try to sleep until 6:15-6:30 am and go to bed around 9:30-10 pm. But this morning I slept until 7:30 am (in bed at 12:30 last night after my class reunion).
2 Years post-op
Always lots of coffee...
B: Eggs scrambled with cottage cheese and Canadian bacon
L: Tuna with pickles and cottage cheese
D: Shrimp
S: Deli turkey with mustard, yogurt

I have had a crazy weekend. Drove to VT friday to pick up the new RV saturday morning. It was nice - nice dinner, pretty surroundings. Picked up the RV at 8 am - took hours as they had to install sway bar, backup camera, etc. and then 1 hour into the ride home the transmission of our suv did weird things and we drove home 40 mph the rest of the trip - LONG ride home. The RV is so beautiful tho!!!
QOTD: I wish I could sleep in or stay up late. I fall asleep by 9-9:30 and wake up at 5 regardless of the situation.
B: cheerios
L: idk
D: going to Meyers and Chang (chinese) and then to see On Your Feet at the Boston Opera house!!

Good morning! My last day in Cincinnati with my awesome family and then flying home this afternoon. I forget how beautiful this town is.
QOTD: I usually end up waking up at the same time because the dog starts to move around, but sometimes it's just nice to lay there and enjoy the warm sheets.
B - Starbucks grande sugar free vanilla latte, sous vide egg white bites
L - ?
D - ?
S - ?
Good Sunday morning, everyone! Raining here and still a bit cold, but at least it's not snow!! Got the estimate back on the hail damage to my brand new car...$1500. Oy. Oh well, thank goodness for insurance, plus they pay for a rental car while mine is being repaired, so there is that :)
QOTD: I am definitely a stay up late and sleep in kind of gal. I'm a night owl, so getting up at 6:30am for work goes against my nature. I take full opportunity of staying up late and sleeping in on the weekends!
B: Greek yogurt and peanut butter, coffee w/cream and xylitol
L: Turkey snack sticks, sliced Muenster cheese, baby cucumbers
D: Smoked pulled chicken, cucumbers in sour cream
Water and vites on track
E: Housework (yuck!)
Good morning, it's a sunny beautiful Spring day here in Montana, finally! Going to take Emmy for a walk along the beach(lake shore) today.
QOTD-My routine is usually in bed between 11pm-12 and always up by 5:30am. It doesn't matter if I am up late or go to bed early, my internal clock goes off before 6:00am. I did sleep in last month for the first time in 10 years, it was nice:-)
B-Bullet coffee and 2 protein waffles(eggs & cream cheese) with SF syrup
L-PP shake
S-Chai tea, 1/2 apple w/1tbsp almond butter
D-Round steak strips w/mushrooms, onion and steamed peas
E-Walk on lake beach with Emmy
I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday!

Hey all! We had a potluck at work again with a Mexican theme. I made shredded chicken verde to bring.
QOTD I stick to a similar schedule. Maybe stay up a little later, but rarely get up later.
Breakfast- string cheese
Lunch- shredded chicken and tortilla
dinner- pure protein chocolate bar
snack- does more shredded chicken count on half a taco shell? Half a PP in coffee tonight
Totals 711 cal, 51g carbs :(, 82g protein
not a great nutrition day, but it's the last meal I will have with co workers, so I enjoyed it and will miss them all so much.
QOTD: I forgot to answer! I tend to try to avoid "weekend jet lag" so I try to keep the same hours fairly consistently. This can be frustrating since the people I sleep with do not share this sentiment :P
My "bedtime" is 10:30pm so I rarely stay up past 11pm. I had been waking up at 8am, but I'm working on shifting that to 7:30am. I'd gotten out of whack and it was making life challenging. Twice a week I need to get up at 6:30 for fitness classes, so I try to keep a schedule that makes that attainable. It's easier to maintain the schedule I want when I'm also maintaining my normal exercise routine and, due to reconstructive surgeries and physical therapy, my exercise schedule has been all sorts of ******
I've also suffered insomnia my entire life so time in bed doesn't necessarily mean time asleep!
