Whatcha eating today VSG 4/17/18?
I would LOVE to live someplace walkable. Instead I live in the place where having an hour commute to work is "short." :P

Afternoon everyone! Tomorrow I am heading to Chicago for a training so today I'm running around trying to get everything accomplished, then tonight I'll finish getting the kids packed (they're staying with their grandparents :)
QOTD: Only 3 is tough because I am a super sentimental softy! I would have to say my wedding ring , my grandmother's amethyst necklace that my mother gave me, and a stuffed unicorn my belated aunt gave me. But I also have at least one gift from each of my siblings that mean a whole lot to me (a scarf from Iraq my brother gave me, a stuffed sloth that's an inside joke from my sister, a camelbone necklace from my other brother, and a scarf from my dad). Come to think of it, I don't think I have a special gift from my little sister. Eh, baby of the family just receives gifts I guess lol.
B - Protein shake
L - half chicken sandwich
d - shrimp ceviche
e - walking at Ry's baseball practice

I spent my morning at doctors and have been working since I got back home. Overall this has been a decent and productive day.
QOTD: I love my dishes, my table, and my Kindle. Not that I have a lot of time to read these days, but the Kindle makes reading so much more convenient.
1: I had two doctors appointments this morning at 9 and 11, both in the same direction about 30 minutes away from home. With a Panera between them. It made more sense to kill time there than to drive home and back out again. So I skipped my regular protein shake breakfast and had a bacon and spinach soufflé. SO GOOD.
2: leftover flank steak (I have no idea how this hasn't been eaten yet.)
3: It's a leftover night, so probably some leftover lamb "stew" from Sunday's cookbook club. Yum.
liquid and vites: on track
exercise: nope due to the appointments

Good evening, everyone! Gosh I miss posting here, but I'm so tired by the end of the day I rarely have the energy. I'm too damned old for this working gig, LOL!
QOTD: Really hard one because I've always been sentimental about EVERYTHING. But, I'd have to say my three faves are:
1. My dad's stoneware coffee mug.
2. The latte mug that my baby sister and her son made for my birthday one year.
3. My family jewelry, whi*****ludes my mom & dad's high school ID bracelets, my maternal grandmother's pearl ring, and my paternal grandmother's diamond wedding set.
B: Bacon, coffee w/cream and xylitol
L: Turkey sausage snack sticks, Swirls cheese sticks, zucchini slices
D: Apple (I'm splurging lol), maybe more bacon
Water and vites on track
E: Walking
I saw the article too - you are so inspiring!
