Whatcha eating Today VSGers? Sunday, 4/8/2018
Good afternoon, all! It's been a busy, crazy week. The weather here has been so cold for April, and I had 1/4 inch of sleet on my windshield Monday morning. It hailed Monday night, and naturally, my brand new car was parked outside and I got hail damage. It was a week old!! First new car in 14 years and THIS ONE gets hail damage....grrrrrr. Luckily it was nickel to quarter sized hail and the dents aren't too bad. Gonna cost me cuz I have $500 deductible insurance but should be like new again once it's fixed. Such a bummer though :(
QOTD: I have lots of dishes...I have dish obsession! Here are my top favorites:
Current everyday porcelain (Waverly Piastelle):
Good china for entertaining (Mikasa Cameo Gold):
And my very favorite collectible that I got on Ebay for a STEAL and absolutely love!! 12 place setting and serving pieces (1950s Pink Boonton Melmac):
ETA: Not actual pics, mine is packed away
B: Yogurt w/crunchy peanut butter, coffee w/cream and xylitol
L: Probably sausage snack sticks and cheese sticks
D: Chicken, broccoli, sour cream and Parmesan casserole I threw together, or if I have the energy, I'm going to try out my new Instant Pot and pressure cook some corned beef
Water and vites on track
Good morning! I started off today in a bit of a rush. I work at my second job every Sunday at 6, and I woke up at 6 a.m. exactly today. I am obsessively early, so I was a little miffed.
QOTD: We are pretty eclectic. We don't have a set just a variety of pieces from yard sales, handmedowns, clearance sales, etc.
I don't think I've ever had matching dishes in my life... On the scale of what I need to pay for, that just ranks really low. Hopefully, when I am a little older, I can stop worrying about other family members and buy some nice things for my house.
M1: cookies and cream premier
M2: P3 (turkey, ham, cheddar), no sugar added mandarin orange cup
M3: ham and cheddar with crackers
M4: tilapia

QOTD: I have 12 of everything because between us, we have 6 kids plus extras....I haven't a clue how to post photos in here -- the pattern is called Orleans. http://www.pfaltzgraff.com/orleans/dinnerware-set/V367035BY. html?dwvar_V367035BY_size=32PC&gclid=CjwKCAjw-6bWBRBiEiwA_K1 ZDWXWpnUPUbvTvv6E9yAzgFKNEev9md71sASEcYd8xbpmb8pGc-FmThoCBqY QAvD_BwE and the link is here. My kitchen is the color green of the narrow border. My mother in law gave us the dishes when we got married (16 years ago), and I still enjoy them. Our "good" china is white, and it came as the "extra" with a set of encyclopedias....
Dream dishes? A set of Beleek Irish china (I'm too careless & too cheap!)
