VSG over 600 lbs

I had the sleeve done & my bmi was over 50. I've kept most of my weight off & don't regret my decision. One thing to keep in mind is that many people do develop gerd after getting the vsg. It feels kinda like hit or miss on who gets it. Plus your friend should keep in mind her insurance requirements. Some policies only offer 1 wls per lifetime. So it might be nice to get the vsg n all, but she might have to fork over her own money if she wants to get the ds later.
